Exciting New Chapter for Women's Boxing on Sky Sports

There is wonderful news for sports fans across the UK and Ireland as Sky Sports has officially announced a major new partnership with Most Valuable Promotions (MVP). This exciting multi-year deal means that Sky Sports and NOW will become the exclusive home of MVP's new women's boxing platform, MVPW, bringing a wealth of thrilling action directly to viewers.

Under this fantastic agreement, Sky Sports will broadcast two all-female UK fight nights every year. The celebration of women's boxing kicks off with a historic event at London's Olympia on 5 April. This inaugural UK card promises to be unforgettable, featuring a double main event. Fans will witness Caroline Dubois face British rival Terri Harper in a lightweight world title unification fight. Additionally, Ellie Scotney will take on Mexico's WBA world titlist Mayelli Flores in a bout that could see Scotney become the UK's youngest ever undisputed champion of the four-belt era.

The excitement does not stop at the British borders. Sky Sports will also showcase selected MVPW fight nights from the United States, starting on 17 April (18 April in the UK) from the iconic Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden. The US action will feature unified junior lightweight champion Alycia Baumgardner defending her titles against South Korea's Bo Mi Re Shin. In the co-main event, Shadasia Green will make a 10-round defence of her unified super middleweight world titles against former light heavyweight champion Lani Daniels.

Jonathan Licht, Sky Sports' Chief Officer for the UK and Ireland, expressed great pride in this collaboration, noting that it underlines their ambition to showcase the very best in women's boxing. He highlighted that 2026 is set to be a huge year for women's sport, with this deal adding to an unrivalled line-up that includes major events like the ICC Women's T20 World Cup and the Solheim Cup.

Whether you are a lifelong boxing fan or looking to discover new sporting heroes, this partnership ensures you won't miss a moment of the action.
