Cancelling your Sky subscription must be done by phone — Sky does not currently offer an online cancellation option. When you call, you will be put through to Sky's retention team who will process your cancellation request.

Sky requires 31 days' notice to cancel your subscription. During your notice period:
If you are within a minimum term contract (usually 18 months), early termination charges will apply. These are calculated as the remaining monthly payments left on your contract.

When you cancel, you must return your Sky equipment within 31 days. This includes:
Sky will send you a prepaid returns label. Pack the equipment securely and drop it at your nearest collection point. If you do not return the equipment, Sky may charge you for it.
If you have a Sky Yahoo email address (@sky.com), it will remain active after you cancel your TV subscription. However, Sky may change the terms of free email accounts, so it is worth backing up important emails before cancelling.
