Starting this week, we are rolling out Sky Broadband Shield to ensure no one misses out on enhanced security. This award-winning service gives families full control over their internet experience. It effectively protects against malware-infected or phishing sites, keeping your home network safe. A standout feature is the Watershed function, which offers adjustable settings with age rating options including PG, 13, 18, Custom, or none. These settings can be tailored for different times of the day, allowing you to customise protection exactly how you need it. You can easily manage these preferences in MySky at any time.
From January, we are introducing a helpful update to make the safest setting the automatic choice for everyone. This means Sky Broadband Shield will be turned 'on' by default, providing immediate peace of mind unless you choose to adjust it. For customers who have not yet made a decision, we will be sending an email explaining the benefits and offering the opportunity to activate, adjust, or decline the service. The best part is that you remain in complete control; you can change your settings whenever you like.
