A standout feature of this release is its seamless compatibility with the voice-over technology already built into iOS and Android devices. By simply enabling voice-over in your settings, the app can now "speak" to you, describing every image and text item on the screen. This means you can navigate the interface effortlessly using gestures and touch, with the device guiding you every step of the way. We worked closely with our dedicated accessibility team and the RNIB to ensure this technology delivers a truly inclusive experience for blind and partially sighted customers.
Beyond accessibility, the app offers a wealth of fantastic tools for everyone. You can now browse the TV guide with ease, record current and future episodes using the Smart Series Link, and catch up on shows you might have missed at no extra cost. If you love diving into complete series, the Box Sets feature lets you explore the latest and greatest shows instantly. Additionally, the Sky Store offers a wide selection of movies to rent and download, while the new photo sharing feature makes it simple to enlarge and share your favourite snaps with friends and family.
